How to format addresses for CSV import
How to format addresses for CSV import
Updated over a year ago

Addresses may be contained in a single column or split across multiple columns (for example, a street column and a city column).

Street address and an additional piece of address information such as the city, state, or zip code is required to accurately identify the address when imported.

LeaseUp uses Google Maps search to find addresses, so providing as many parts of the address as possible will lead to the most accurate results.

Most likely to work:

  • Full address (including street, city, state, and zip code) in a single column

  • Full address (including street, city, state, and zip code) in multiple columns

  • Street, city, state, and zip code columns

More likely to work:

  • Street and city columns

  • Street, state, and zip code columns

Less likely to work:

  • Street and zip code columns

  • Street and state columns

Least likely to work:

  • Street column only
