In the second onboarding article, we’ll show you how to import market data into LeaseUp from a CSV file.
First, put together a CSV file with any data you’d like, from any source you use.
With a survey open in table view, click the ‘Import CSV’ button and select the CSV file from your computer. LeaseUp will recognize the fields in the CSV file, and prompt you to match five reserved fields: Sqft Available, Price / Sqft, Date Available, and Lease Term. After matching the reserved fields, click the right end of the input box to designate building fields vs space fields.
After confirming, you’ll see a preview of the CSV data imported into LeaseUp, where you can edit or enter additional info. Potential conflicts will automatically be highlighted if something looks off. When you’re done, click the ‘Import Buildings’ button to add the data from the CSV file to your survey.
