Import a CSV file to a survey
Updated over a year ago

Put together a CSV file containing any market data you'd like, from any database that you use. Most databases allow you to export information as a CSV file.

Open your survey in table view. If the survey is empty, click the ‘Import CSV’ button. If the survey has buildings added already, scroll to the bottom of the table and click the upload icon in the last row of the table. Select the CSV file from your computer from the window that pops up.

At this point, LeaseUp will recognize the fields in the CSV file, and prompt you to match four reserved fields: Sqft Available, Price / Sqft, Date Available, and Lease Term.

After matching the reserved fields, click the right end of the input box to designate building fields vs space fields.

Click confirm, and you’ll be taken to an editable preview of the CSV data imported into LeaseUp’s platform. You can edit or enter additional information at this stage. Potential conflicts will automatically be highlighted if something looks off.

Click the ‘Import Buildings’ button to add the data from the CSV file to your survey.
